- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- managing the operation of one residential unit and three supported living units, reporting directly to the Directors and Registered Manager
- ensuring that all residents are cared for with respect and dignity to a high standard
- assessing the needs of all residents, and establishing and implementing appropriate care plans
- ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Inspections standards, such as CQC
- implementing and adhering health & safety procedures at the home
- liaising with other professionals and external organisations to ensure the best level of care can be provided for residents
- building good relationships with families/guardians and such as social workers, healthcare professionals
- participating in regular meetings to update information and receive feedback from seniors or support staff
Requirements
- hold or be working towards a QCF Level 5 qualification in social care
- experience in managing care in residential and/or supported living settings for clients with learning difficulties
- knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
- experience in managing and leading a team
- high-level communication and interpersonal skills
- excellent organisational and administrative ability
- good decision-making and problem-solving skills
