The River Rat Bar & Kitchen is looking for a Line Chef or kitchen assistant to join their team. The role involves ensuring compliance with food and hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, preparing and cooking fresh food, and taking care of the starter and dessert section. The required skills/experience include a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar restaurant, strong knowledge of food and food preparation, and understanding of food and hygiene regulations. The working hours are mainly afternoon and evening shifts, with some day shifts required for events. The salary starts from £11.00 per hour, and benefits include discounted or free food.
