Responsibility

  • work with other kitchen staff and coordinate daily food prep
  • help to develop menu items, including specials
  • ensure that all food is prepared to chef's specifications and within budget
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • ensure that all food products are properly stored at all times
  • perform daily sanitation procedures at the workstation and in the kitchen
  • assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • knowledge of various cooking methods, equipment, and ingredients
  • working knowledge of sanitation procedures
  • fast learner with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • team player with good communication skills
