Responsibility
- manage and support a team of training coordinators
- set annual budgets and maintain relevant financial records
- tender for appropriate contracts using a variety of digital platforms
- an excellent opportunity awaits the right candidate - as we require a full-time Training Manager to manage the training department, along with growing the client portfolio and maximising the new training centre facilities in Laurencekirk
- manage training requirements for key clients
- liaise with National Training Organisations to ensure that qualifications are fit for purpose
- ensure that quality assurance is maintained and complies with accrediting bodies
- prepare monthly and annual reports for board presentation
Requirements
- an extensive background in best-in-class training delivery and/or learning and development best practice
- A knowledge of the land-based sector and/or related industries
- 5 years management experience, as a minimum
- minimum of 5 years management experience preferred
- understanding of health and safety requirements within the workplace
- experienced leader, who excels at motivating a team
- knowledge of teaching/mentoring and the ability to design courses
- excellent communication skills, someone who recognises the art of listening to client needs and strives to exceed their expectations
