Responsibility
- provide exceptional nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- administer medication and monitor the well-being of residents
- work collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure high standards of care are maintained
- lead and supervise Support Workers to deliver the best possible care
- maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care and treatment
- act as a key point of contact for residents and their families, offering support and advice
- participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
Requirements
- previous experience in a care home, hospital, or similar environment is essential
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- compassionate, caring, and committed to making a positive impact on residents' lives
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered General Nurse with a mental health qualification
