Responsibility

  • richard Utting Associates LLP is a leading Construction Consultancy practice delivering projects across the United Kingdom
  • RUA LLP will provide the candidate with support and guidance towards achieving this industry leading chartered status
  • they will assist RUA LLP to develop collaborative relationships with our clients and other professional colleagues within the industry
  • they will have the ability to successfully support the delivery of projects under supervision, leading to further repeat clients and opportunities
  • the successful graduate will be working alongside our existing surveyors, Associates or Partners to successfully manage and deliver various capital projects across East Anglia and nationally
  • the successful candidate will work alongside our existing surveyors, Associates or Partners to successfully manage and deliver various capital projects across East Anglia and nationally
  • as experience develops, this support will ultimately lead to managing and leading projects of their own
  • the role would cover the whole project life from initial inception and business case development estimates, through the design and procurement and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase

Education

  • bachelor's

Requirements

  • RICS accredited Quantity Surveyor degree, or similar i.e. BSc
  • enrolled upon the RICS APC pathway through year-out work

  • well developed interpersonal and communication skills are key
  • ability to develop long term relationships with all team members and effectively balance people and processes
  • understands and can demonstrate the importance of Client focus
  • strong experience of delivering technically complex projects in the Sectors highlighted above from inception to completion
  • good understanding of project Governance and procurement processes
