Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- ensure adherence to all health & safety policies
- lead a team of circa 15 employees to ensure targets for cost, quality, and schedule are met
- develop and work with others in a positive working environment
- create and manage process improvements in line with strategic goals
- ensure good housekeeping is maintained
- undertake administrative tasks if required, holiday requests, return to work interviews, etc
- undertake final check on components prior to shipment
- JOB TITLE: Production Supervisor
Requirements
- strong personality with extensive manufacturing and leadership experience in a demanding industry
- works to appropriate production plan and strives to achieve and surpass targets
- detailed understanding of good production working practices with a background in a shopfloor environment e.g. toolmaker, machinist, fitter, etc
- have a good understanding of problem solving / continuous improvement tools and techniques
- confidence to challenge the norm and handle conflict
- security clearance will be a requirement to undertake site work
- positive self-motivated individual with a desire to grow
