Responsibility
- establish project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed
- be responsible for managing and dealing with the Clients project teams
- lead our team to deliver the projects on programme and to the required standards
- responsible for setting and maintaining programmes and project targets
- review design information and ensure buildability is considered
- sets and manages project resources effectively to suit programme requirements
- manage and control subcontractor procurement and performance
- sets and ensures that projects meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements
Requirements
- track record of delivering successful projects
- experience of being a team leader
- experience in quality management maintaining a high standard
- demonstrable experience of managing projects including managing resources, people and cost
- strong construction safety background with a working knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice and standards
- ability to develop strategies and organise tasks
- ability to use various project management software
- understanding and experience of various construction methos i.e. traditional foundations, piled foundations, structural steel frames, reinforced concrete frames, timber frames etc
