  • vehicle strip-down and assembly, including parts cataloguing, refurbishment and overhaul of parts, brake/fuel pipe replacement, mechanical repairs and servicing, vehicle corrosion protection, general vehicle restoration tasks

Requirements

  • experience in major mechanical repairs and overhaul/restoration of complete vehicles
  • experience in motorsport, vehicle modifications and engine conversions

  • quality control management/checks of workshop and bodyshop jobs to ensure strict standards are met on every job
  • ensuring all vehicle parts and consumables are charged out correctly to their respective jobs as required
  • monitoring weekly/monthly invoicing targets, including routine checks of staff invoiced hours and productivity
  • providing detailed customer estimates for mechanical and bodyshop jobs including liaising with all departments, the office manager and clients as required
  • project management of vehicle and parts restoration, weekly project meetings, work scheduling and ensuring all departments are running efficiently/targets being met
  • creating parts lists and purchase orders using original manufacturer and aftermarket parts diagrams to identify and source a wide variety of often obsolete or rare vehicle components
