hr generalist

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
  • assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • provide clerical and administrative support
  • compile and update employee records
  • process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities
  • maintain Employee records
  • act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions
  • assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience within a HR role
  • exposure to labour law and employment equity regulations
  • effective HR administration and people management skills
  • exposure to payroll practices
  • full understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools
