develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote our range of communication products and services
identify and engage with potential customers, including academic institutions, researchers, libraries, and other relevant stakeholders
build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
research Publishing International is looking for a dynamic and driven consultative Salesperson to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our science communication business
conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to showcase the value and benefits of our communication solutions
collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer support, to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
highly self-motivated, able to use own initiative and accountable for your actions
proven experience in sales, preferably in the publishing industry, communications industry or related fields
excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with diverse customers
strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and drive sales
self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identify and pursue sales opportunities
familiarity with academic research and publishing processes is a plus
proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
an interest in science and academia would be of benefit
