Responsibility

  • research Publishing International is a leading scientific communications company dedicated to the dissemination of ground breaking research worldwide
  • our platforms serve as hubs for researchers, scholars, and academic institutions, facilitating the sharing of knowledge and fostering intellectual collaboration
  • develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote our range of communication products and services
  • identify and engage with potential customers, including academic institutions, researchers, libraries, and other relevant stakeholders
  • build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
  • research Publishing International is looking for a dynamic and driven consultative Salesperson to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our science communication business
  • conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to showcase the value and benefits of our communication solutions
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer support, to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

  • highly self-motivated, able to use own initiative and accountable for your actions
  • proven experience in sales, preferably in the publishing industry, communications industry or related fields
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with diverse customers
  • strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and drive sales
  • self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identify and pursue sales opportunities
  • familiarity with academic research and publishing processes is a plus
  • proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • an interest in science and academia would be of benefit
