recycling operative
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- operate shredding/granulation machinery
- ensure material quality is of a high standard
- complete general maintenance tasks
- monitor material quality and ensure standards are maintained
- ensure good housekeeping is maintained, work areas and walk ways kept tidy at all time
- at the end of the working day all areas must be tidy and prepared for the following day
Requirements
- must be able to follow instructions and work with the team to ensure production deadlines are met
- ability to drive a fork lift truck is desirable however not essential
- the role involves working in an open building environment so someone who enjoys working outside would be especially suited to this role
- candidate must be willing to embrace the stringent Health & Safety Rules on site and complete the Health & Safety Training as and when required
- our site operates from 7am until 6pm Monday to Thursday and 7am until 5pm Friday. Ideally we would like candidates to work these hours but other shifts are available and can be discussed at interview stage
