Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- minimum of 4 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- experience with project management and cross-functional team collaboration
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- self-motivated with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Responsibility
- lead engineering projects and ensure that all products are designed, developed, and manufactured to the highest quality standards
- work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and are manufacturable at scale
- manage projects and support junior engineers in the team, providing technical guidance and support as needed
- identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure that product designs align with market needs
- develop and maintain relationships with external partners such as suppliers and contractors
