Responsibility
- RENTON GARAGE is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Mechanic
- this position will be responsible for all facets of the repair shop and its operations
- the candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- this position requires a willingness to learn and grow in the repair shop
- this is an hourly position with potential for overtime
Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required
- must be willing to work overtime as needed
- basic understanding of mechanical systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, air conditioning, electrical systems, exhaust systems, transmission, etc
- ability to read technical manuals is a plus
- ability to use basic hand tools such as air compressor motors, saws, drills, etc
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to 8 hours at a time and bend over repeatedly
