Responsibility
- perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
- prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- adjust and control X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images
- follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- review images for quality and ensure all necessary information is captured
- maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
- collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results
- note: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist is required for this position
Requirements
- proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology
- knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ability to adhere to them
