- to undertake viability and Family and Friends assessments and present these to Fostering Panel
- the service also have work oyster cards that can be provided
- to hold a caseload of more complex and sensitive cases and deal with them effectively and efficiently to ensure best outcomes
- ability to manage duty manager role including checking and signing off completed assessments
- establish a network of internal and external colleagues to support effective practice
- undertake viability assessments of family/ friends to assess their suitability to care for child/children in Local Authority care
- to accommodate children and young people and initiate care proceedings when appropriate
- the social worker will undertake a combination of statutory work and preventive work within the school
