Responsibility
- 1.Will hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Health and Social care
- 2.Have an awareness of the needs of people with learning disabilities with challenging behaviour, Autism, epilepsy and other disabilities
- you will be expected to be on call at least twice a week & occasions more to cover A/L
- private, family run 6 bed & 3 bed supportive living homes for Individuals with Learning Disability/Difficulty and Mental Health in Worcester , is looking to appoint Senior Support Worker on a full time basis 40hrs a week which could include weekend work on a rotation basis
- all applicants to have been triple vaccine for Covid-19
- we are looking for experienced Senior Support Worker who can provide an exceptionally high level of care and quickly become part of the team while leading by example. A minimum of 12 months experience within a senior role is required
- you will assist in meeting the needs and aspirations of people with learning disabilities and mental health by using a person centred approach, providing them with encouragement, support and assistance, promoting their social inclusion and promoting their rights and choice under the supervision and direction of the Home Manager to enable people with learning disabilities & mental health to live a more independent and fulfilled lives
