Responsibility
- barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders
- to be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates
- greet customers as they enter
- you should be able to work various shifts
- take orders while paying attention to details
- prepare beverages - Hot drinks, alcoholic drinks
- ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent drinking experience for our guests
- serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins, breakfast baps, soups, sandwiches etc
Requirements
- previous work experience as a Barista is required
- familiarity with specialty coffee drinks ingredients is a plus
- knowledge of cleanliness regulations is a plus
- good time management - please note this'll require early starts
- ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- excellent communication skills
- experience in a supervisory position required
