Requirements

  • strong operational man management skills
  • ensure CQC compliance targets are met along with expected standards and legislation
  • provide effective leadership to the staff team, ensuring staff are empowered and delegated to, in line with their roles and responsibilities
  • ensure that recruitment and selection, management, training, development, supervision and appraisal of all base roles are planned, undertaken and monitored effectively
  • this role will suit someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior role in a residential care home setting
  • build and maintain a culture that promotes safety, dignity, respect and choice
  • who is an enthusiastic individual and passionate about ensuring the safety of our service users is paramount and works within the remit of the safeguarding regulations
  • able to engage with stakeholders to identify their service needs and review the quality of services provided
