Responsibility

  • 1.Partnership/New Initiatives development
  • proactively seek out opportunities to network and develop relationships with individuals and organisations to generate income and raise our profile
  • generating an agreed target of new income and bring into management new initiatives over the agreed period
  • lead on funder management and bringing new initiatives into management, including keeping up to date with possible funding, initiatives, opportunities and changes in key funding bodies, producing a schedule of reporting and bid applications and new initiative plans, and keeping the CEO updated and informed
  • undertake prospecting work to identify organisations who may support Refugee Resource's work and lead on approaching written bids, working up new business and proposals or personal contact
  • represent Refugee Resource at appropriate forums, meetings and conferences with partners and statutory bodies to improve ways of working and explore funding, new initiatives and opportunities
  • gather research and data, including from Refugee Resource’s services, that can be used to inform and strengthen stakeholder relationships with funding bodies and organisations working in related sectors and key local partners
