Responsibility
- establish and maintain a role as technical advisor to customers and colleagues as well as being 2nd/3rd line support
- assist in the design, testing and implementation stages of technical projects ensuring all deadlines are adhered to
- configuration and installation of server hardware including the operating system and third party products
- conduct regular reviews of customer process documentation and setup and configuration standard documentation
- proactively ensure our internal systems are available and recoverable, including regular documented failover/recovery tests
- proactively identify problems, implement change and monitor them through to resolution
- update and document the progress and actions taken in problem solving technical queries on the companies Call Management System
- identify technical sales opportunities and bring them to the attention of the Customer Services function and assist them in the preparation of quotations
Requirements
- full driving license
- microsoft Accreditation
- exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal and excellent active listening skills
- demonstrable experience of working with a range of IT technologies
- technical support: 4 years
- customer service: 4 years
