accounts administrator

  • accounts administrator

Responsibility

  • manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third party vendors
  • reconcile financial statements
  • prepare, send & store invoices
  • contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
  • identify and address discrepancies
  • action & complete weekly cash flow process
  • report on the status of accounts payable & receivable to the Director
  • update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets

Requirements

  • proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
  • good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations
  • hands-On experience with accounting software. Ideally Sage 50 Accounts Professional & Sage Payroll
  • solid data entry skills, with a good attention to detail
  • the ability to identify numerical errors
  • good organisational and time management abilities
  • confident communicator with other departments and Managing Director, to ensure clear communication at all times
