- experience designing for 24/7 industrial use, with safety and reliability at forefront
- structural design
- tank design
- industrial Equipment – thermal equipment, material handling, process gas abatement
- piping design
- highly proficient with 3D CAD, Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks preferred
- skilled in creating detailed drawings, with strong knowledge of GD&T
Responsibility
- design, build, and commission custom machines and automated equipment
- improve existing equipment with targeted upgrades, including automation
- develop detailed specifications to define machine and process requirements
- create concepts/layouts and work with stakeholders to define architecture
- create detailed mechanical designs and select hardware/components
- perform engineering calculations and FEA to validate equipment and tool designs
- create models, detailed drawings, and bills of materials
- develop control narrative and collaborate with controls engineering to execute
