Responsibility
- install, assemble and service heating and hot water systems according to schematics, regulations and manufacturers instructions
- perform electrical wiring and connect electrical components, including room thermostats, programmers and controls
- test and commission installed equipment to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
- maintain accurate records of installation activities and equipment specifications
- supervise and train junior installers as needed
- collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure successful installation projects
- provide excellent customer service during installations and address any customer concerns or questions
Requirements
- gas Safe registered with a minimum of CCN1, CENWAT and CPA1
- unvented Hot Water Systems and Water Regulations
- proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- leadership skills to supervise and guide junior installers
- excellent customer service skills to interact with clients during installations
- heat Pump knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement as full training can be given
- plumbing: 5 years
