to co-ordinate the Company’s OHS strategy to ensure that all areas of our activities are routinely assessed for risk
to attend and participate in on-site specific pre-contract OHS assessments
to assist with the research and writing of new OHS procedures and policies
an ability to Influence staff, especially casual employees to reduce unsafe and at risk behaviors through innovative safety campaign initiatives
to carryout regular onsite inspections and audits at the company locations with reports and recommendations for improvements
to ensure that hazards and risks are identified and that suitable control measures are implemented, progressed, and measured with outcomes regularly reviewed
to co-ordinate and where required deliver the training of the Company staff on all OHS issues
support Location Managers and liaise with the staff representatives on all OHS matters

Requirements
good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation with supporting OHS qualification in Managing Safety
good knowledge of Food Safety legislation and experience of working with food production/catering/hospitality activities
food Hygiene Level 3 or 4 qualification
experience and qualifications of training staff in Health and Safety and/or Food Hygiene
experience of working with an OHS/auditing platform, such as iAuditor or similar would be desirable
experience of working around temporary sites and green field locations
excellent interpersonal skills at all levels with demonstrable ability to manage by influence
experience of preparing well written reports and policies to support company requirements
