Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- TIG Welder - £30k
- ensuring safety procedures are always followed
- you will be joining our client’s Eastbourne site, which has over 100 employees
- performing manual and semi-automatic welding
- proficient with welding processes – TIG, Shielded Metal Arc Welding
- welding components in various positions such as Groove and fillet welds in plate and Pipe. ASME IX 1G-6G or equivalent
- setting up components for the welding process as per specifications
- our client, a leading advanced engineering company with a global reach, is seeking a Welder to join them on a full-time, permanent basis
Requirements
- attention to detail
- TIG welding experience essential
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
- ability to make decisions within guidelines and take responsibility
- team working
- ideally qualified to internationally recognised standards such as ASME IX, ISO 15614, AWS D1.1
- experience of a similar role within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- ability to meet tight time frames and work under pressure is important while ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others
