Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- full management of the Estimating Department
- collaborate closely with Contracts Managers and the Procurement Team to ensure efficient tendering and project delivery
- present design plans to the project team using AutoCAD and Revit
- undertake Tender Enquiry activities, considering both commercial and technical aspects while adhering to our non-collusive policy
- assess and record project risks via the risk register
- provide technical guidance, advice, and bid support, including tender programmes and methodologies
- conduct site visits when necessary to understand tender requirements
- develop and maintain strong relationships with industry networks and clients
Requirements
- applicants should come from an electrical background, ideally as a Qualified Electrician or holding an Electrical Engineering Degree
- proven experience with Trimble estimating and costing systems
- proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit
- ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure competitive prices
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- high level of competency in MS Office packages
- excellent verbal, written, and numerical skills
- ability to multitask and thrive in a demanding environment
