Responsibility

  • as an administrator you will be responsible for all tasks within the office that are not of a technical nature
  • the primary task of the administrator is to ensure that customer communications are clear concise and timely, ensuring any communication between staff and customers is swift and effective
  • all bookkeeping tasks within Xero, including recording expenses, creating, and sending invoices, generating financial reports and paying / managing supplier bills also need to be carried out by the administrators with support from the Technical Officer and Operation Managers
  • the role also includes managing hours and other HR task such as holiday management and liaising with our payroll provider regarding statutory sick pay, maternity/paternity leave etc
  • any other task that is not technical also falls under the administrators remit, such as liaising with insurers and other third parties
  • communicate with all staff to ensure hours are sent to payroll provider on time, assist with other HR related tasks such as: holiday management, HMRC forms etc
  • act as the first point of contact for clients and suppliers. Answer phone calls and emails, providing information or redirecting queries to the appropriate party
  • maintain and organise office operations and procedures, including uploading paper invoices to dext, filing paperwork and ordering office supplies

  • good level of written communication

  • must be willing to adapt to new processes and systems
  • be a good communicator and be able to work with the existing Engineers, office staff and Managers
  • knowledge of the Renewable Energy industry preferred but not required

  • at least 5 years experience in industry
  • G3 Unvented Cylinder Qualification
  • 2391 Test & Inspection
  • full UK Driving Licence
  • JIB Gold card

Responsibility

  • electrical installation of Solar PV and Battery Storage Systems
  • installation of radiator / underfloor heating systems and unvented hot water cylinders using Copper press and MLCP
  • electrical installation of Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps
  • decommissioning of existing heating systems
  • installation of EV Chargers
  • liaising with customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction throughout installation
  • installation of Energy Monitoring
  • training an apprentice to reach our high installation standards

  • strong problem-solving and analytical skills
