Responsibility
- providing a central point of reference for the department in regard to MCOB, Buy to Let and CONC regulations and procedures, liaising with Compliance Department as necessary
- act as lead on the project lending to document and improve lending processes and procedures across the department, including design and implementation of controls where weakness or gaps are identified
- feed into the department’s Risk Control Self-Assessment, ensuring new lending risks or control deficiencies and remedial actions are highlighted to the Managers Risk Committee
- the key to this role is providing wide-ranging, proactive assistance to Senior Relationship Managers including providing cover where appropriate
- undertake and own FLOD testing for Reconciliations
- identifying and helping deliver the regulatory lending training needs and requirements of staff
- the role will enable and empower Managers department to deliver products and services in a compliant and customer-centric manner
- drive and manage implementation of strategic initiatives for Managers department, including appropriate stakeholder management
