- conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of arrival and any discrepancies
- assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients
Requirements
- valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred
- previous experience in commercial driving or as a van driver is advantageous
- ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks on a regular basis
- strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial for efficient navigation
- A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with company policies
- driving: 1 year
- stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
