Care Support Worker Norwich
Care Support WorkerWe are looking for a full-time, qualified care support worker or similar background to provide around-the-clock support and the care and ability to improve an individual's quality of life.The role would provide private care and support on a rota basis (Monday-Sunday) 6 days per week, within a Norwich location.Previous experience and relevant qualifications in care and or nursing are required for this role. A driving license is preferred, but public transport is available throughout Norwich.An enhanced DBS will be needed, or one will need to be completed prior to commencement as part of the terms and conditions.The most important qualities needed in the care support worker are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest but also have the resilience and motivation to provide the best care and support possible on a daily basis.The role entails:Supporting with personal care when requiredProviding 1-1 support.Supporting to be as independent as possibleHaving patience and understanding, remaining calm in stressful situations.Creating ways to interact and engage.Administering prescribed medication at set timesSupporting with general light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundryPreparing meals, including cooking duties.Supporting with house visits and medical appointmentsUpholding the standards of care set by the CQC and the NMC code of conduct.Qualifications/Experience Required:Enhanced DBS (background checks required)Providing home care (minimum of 2 years’ experience required)Registered nursing or clinical experience (minimum of 2 years’ experience required)Part of the NMC (desirable)Benefits:Salary up to £5
