Responsibility
- ensure the Stores operation runs efficiently and effectively, including the mentoring and developing of the team
- looking at best practice and recommending/ implementing changes where required
- factory Floor Stock Takes
- responsible for Racking Layout, Design, Stock Flow and Adapting the Storage Solutions to the Changing Needs of the Business
- overseeing receiving, warehouse and line-side replenishment
- ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and the safety of staff
- the day-to-day responsibilities will be to supervise a small stores team and ensure the smooth running of the stores, goods in and stock flow
- motivating and disciplining staff
Requirements
- supervising
- excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
- experience of Managing Physical Stores/Stock Layouts
- proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
- valid drivers license
- fork lift truck licence
- proficient computer skills
- outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
