Responsibility
- dismantle, rewind, reassemble and test AC/DC motors and associated equipment including pumps, gearboxes and fans
- testing of AC/DC electrical motor winding
- rewind various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment, including single-phase, three-phase, dc fields, armatures, wound stators and transformers
- prepare all reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions
- \* Correct use of burnout techniques
- \* Detailing of AC/DC motor windings
- \* Rewinding of same
- test rewound electro-mechanical equipment and document test results
Requirements
- appropriate Mechanical and/or electrical qualification
- experience in motor, gearbox, pump and fan repairs
- fork Lift License preferable
- hyab License preferable
- health & Safety trained
- safety Passport transferable preferable
- electrical Engineering: 4 years
