Responsibility
- to ensure the vessel meets Company and legal safety standards so the vessels remain safe
- to follow relevant regulations and comply with the requirements of the Company’s Safety Management System
- to ensure that Motormen follow and comply with these regulations and requirements
- to organise and complete scheduled maintenance and re-fit work list
- attend vessel during annual refits to supervise repair and for maintenance work
- ordering oils and spare parts, timeously, as service demands, within Company guidelines and authorisation levels
- reporting all technical problems or breakdowns affecting the operation of the vessel
- to ensure that all required documentation is always completed and looked after/logged
Requirements
