discuss business methods services with employers or clients to identify marketing requirements
establish appropriate quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies and prepare proposals outlining work programs and cost details
collect and interpret findings from market research, and present results to clients
engage in discussions with relevant departments regarding potential changes in design, price, packaging, promotion, etc., based on market research insights
brief the advertising team on client requirements, monitor the progress of advertising campaigns, and liaise with the client for potential modifications
conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify market trends, opportunities, and potential target segments
identify new business leads and potential clients through market research, networking, and outreach activities
build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster business growth
Requirements
BTEC/SQA award, A levels/H grades, a degree, or equivalent qualification
strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively discuss business requirements, present research findings, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market research data and draw actionable insights
excellent organizational and project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
proficient computer skills, including knowledge of market research tools and MS Office Suite
strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to engage with clients and close business deals
self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to business development
ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering collaboration and cooperation
