- manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for vehicle purchases, maintenance, and repairs
- develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program for all vehicles in the fleet
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field
- proven experience in fleet management or a similar role
- strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing fleet operations
- excellent organizational and time management skills
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- proficient in using fleet management software and other relevant tools
