- to be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining kitchen procedures, risk assessments and records, ensuring compliance with registration and legislative requirements at all times
- to ensure that the highest standards of health and safety apply to both children, staff, parents and visitors, maintaining a safe and secure environment, preventing cross contamination of food within the kitchen area
