Responsibility

  • writing Test Scripts using well defined testing techniques, ensuring prerequisites, steps, and expected results are clearly defined
  • confirming changes by running Test Scripts, giving comprehensive status of test execution, defects, and raising risks in daily and weekly meetings
  • raising defects and using technical knowledge and experience to provide relevant information to support developers to fix bugs
  • supporting the business whilst they are performing User Acceptance Testing, including environment support, investigating and overcoming issues, and raising defects
  • providing evidence of completed testing through robust Test Closure Documentation
  • creating, reviewing, and supporting the creation of Test Plans based on information from various document types, of sufficiently high quality to be shared externally with clients and other key stakeholders
  • identifying ways to improve test process, ensuring benefits and plans to implement any change are shared and reviewed by management and peers

Requirements

  • strong experience with automation and performance testing tools - Selenium Webdriver
  • provide evidence of completed testing through robust Test Closure Documentation
  • in-depth, structured, requirement analysis and subsequent definition of Test Cases, ensuring traceability between testing implementation and the acceptance criteria
  • basic knowledge in programming/Scripting
  • experience of Continuous Integration Tools
  • experience designing and producing automated or manual Tests
  • basic SQL knowledge, eg Select, Insert, Delete, Joins essential
  • support the business whilst they are performing System Integration testing User Acceptance Testing, including environment support, investigating and overcoming issues, and raising defects
