transport manager
Responsibility
- full operational, commercial and financial management of our Thetford based operation
- pallet Network and general Haulage experience
- overseeing the maintenance of the vehicle fleet to ensure Fleet compliance, Driver engagement on tachograph compliance and road safety
- proactive Planning – Supporting and developing your team of planners
- liaise with Internal departments and External customers to resolve issues and drive performance improvement
- R&P Distribution is going through exciting times, we are about to open a new and additional warehouse in Thetford late September, with super growth plans this role is a fantastic opportunity to have full autonomy of your own depot and support our great growth plans
- monitoring KPI and budget performance to identify and implement continuous improvement programmes
- provide professional and specialist advice, both internally and externally
