- load and unload packages from the vehicle
- communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- maintain delivery schedules and uphold exceptional customer service standards
- accurately document and record deliveries for compliance and accountability
- ensure adherence to safety regulations and driving standards
- follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
Requirements
- own reliable vehicle in good condition
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to lift heavy packages, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis
- familiarity with commercial driving regulations and procedures is a plus
- must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- valid driving license and adequate insurance coverage
- previous experience in a similar role preferred
- excellent time management and organizational skills
