Responsibility
- install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating
- conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with heating systems
- diagnose and fix plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, and pipework repairs
- perform safety checks and provide advice on gas and heating systems
- perform plumbing tasks related to heating installations and repairs
- utilise power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations
- assemble components of heating systems as per specifications
- collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
- proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role
- strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively
- basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations
- ability to perform heavy lifting when required during installations or repairs
- experience using power tools and hand tools safely in a work environment
- A full driving licence
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
