Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- ensuring the laboratory is kept clean and tidy in accordance with SOP's
- maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies
- handling of packaging and logistics
- processing of purchase orders
- maintaining the company’s health and safety practices
- helping to implement and maintain the laboratory inventory
- undertake training programmes provided by the company
Requirements
- educated to GCSE level preferred
- ideally possess at least 1 year laboratory experience from an industrial or academic setting and/or have a scientific background
- strong organisation and time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks within time restraint are essential
- independent and excellent problem-solving skills to tackle different challenges
- excellent communication and teamwork skills to support different technical teams and business units are essential
- some knowledge of COSHH would be highly advantageous
- excellent attention to detail and always ensures high quality work deliverables
- willingness to learn
