Responsibility

  • carry out PPM activities, Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, accurately completing the associated paperwork
  • work across a number of client sites, fulfilling our SLA’s
  • ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales
  • supervision of visiting sub-contractors
  • diagnose / repair a full range of pumps and motors - clean/waste water pumps, cold water booster pump sets, centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, positive displacement pumps and associated control panels, contactors and relays

Requirements

  • completed City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in relevant mechanical discipline - Essential
  • basic understanding of the requirements of BS 7671 - Desirable
  • X5 years' experience in a similar role - ideally for a pump manufacturer or independent pump specialist
  • knowledge of and some experience in FCUs, Plumbing, Drainage Systems, pressurisation units and general commercial building mechanical systems
  • full driving license and willing to travel
  • knowledge of Electrical / Electrical City & Guilds or equivalent qualification, with adequate experience of electrical work, up to a maximum voltage of 415volts - Essential
  • pump servicing: 5 years
