Responsibility
- overall management of the care delivered including creating care plans, and conducting reviews
- assisting with company Quality Assurance and CQC compliance
- undertake training and development to keep up to date with the law and regulations
- planning, directing, following, and delivering high-quality person-centred care
- cover of care calls where necessary
- adhere to confidentiality and data protection regulations
- familiar with all legislation and statutory requirements concerning the provision of care
- to support the delivery of induction training for professional carers including moving and handling, first aid
Requirements
- NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care
- minimum 3 years in a managerial role, ideally in social care or regulated sectors
- experience in Domicilary Care sector is a Must
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- registered Manager need to be able to adapt and address situations quickly be self-motivated, proactive and able to use own initiative
- ability to manage financial budgets and reporting requirements
- registered Manager need to build rapport with Service Users by establishing personal connections and showing interest in their lives
- develop and maintain duty rota to meet the needs of the Service Users
