Responsibility

  • we are seeking a skilled CMM Applications Engineer to join our team
  • provide technical support to customers on the use of our CMM software and machines
  • develop and implement custom measurement solutions for our customers
  • the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of CMM software, as well as experience in programming and operating CMM equipment
  • provide programming services for customers
  • carry out external/internal application training to agreed standards
  • collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop new business opportunities
  • stay up-to-date with advancements in CMM technology and software

Requirements

  • background in mechanical engineering
  • understand and read technical drawings, GD&T
  • A good understanding of CMM software and hardware
  • good communication, presentation, interpersonal and documentation skills
  • high degree of initiative and ability to work unsupervised and on client’s premises
  • ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • willingness to travel as needed including spending occasional nights away from home in hotel provided by QCT
  • company car will be provided when training completed
