Responsibility

  • develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites, ensuring responsiveness and optimal performance
  • collaborate with designers to create wireframes and prototypes that enhance user experience

  • troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, including performance optimisation and security enhancements
  • conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and backups
  • work with version control systems such as SVN to manage code changes effectively
  • integrate third-party services and APIs to extend website functionality
  • stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure best practices in web development

Requirements

  • proficient in WordPress development, including theme and plugin creation
  • experience with server-side programming languages such as PHP
  • familiarity with database management
  • knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
  • ability to create wireframes that effectively communicate design ideas
  • proficient in using Visual Studio or similar IDEs for development tasks
  • excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
