Responsibility

  • analyse customer requirements and develop accurate estimates for projects
  • develop detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, and overhead
  • review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work
  • conduct research to determine the availability of materials, labour costs, and other related costs
  • prepare estimates in a timely manner to meet customer deadlines
  • evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
  • maintain records of past estimates and actual costs

Requirements

  • estimating or Quantity Surveying: 3 years
