Responsibility
- due to continued growth and expansion the company is now seeking to appoint a Contracts Manager
- additionally, your duties will be reviewed and increased, over time, in line with the successful candidate’s natural development and career progression
- the Role
- this challenging and exciting opportunity requires an individual with a strong technical background and demonstrable experience in taking the lead for contracts, projects, operations and teams within the foundations, piling or ground engineering sectors
- reporting to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will have responsibility for managing the pre-construction, technical, operational and commercial aspects of all piling and foundation projects undertaken, including management of sub-contractors, Project Managers, Contracts Engineers, Supervisors and all Site Personnel
- you will be able to offer a demonstrable track record of experience in a similar role within the piling, foundations or ground engineering arena
- you will be responsible to assist, support and lead in the day to day management of all operational activities including; lending your advice and support to the tendering and design process, client liaison, management of technical, operational and commercial elements, and the safe, profitable and timely delivery of all contracts, works, projects and schemes
- liaise directly with the design and estimating teams to resolve pre-construction challenges
