Responsibility
- develop and manage a Maintenance Plan that provides a comprehensive schedule of pro-active inspection and maintenance
- the role is very varied and will require someone with excellent multitasking skills, ability to prioritise tasks and have excellent customer service skills
- actively engage in training and other opportunities to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
- ensure that we provide an excellent maintenance service within the resources available, through effective planning and organisation
- ensure that any significant risks relating to maintenance activities are identified and managed effectively
- ensure that the maintenance team and approved contractors provide a responsive, efficient and effective service to our services, based upon appropriate prioritisation of tasks and potential risks
- develop and manage a list of approved contractors, engage other external contractors when appropriate and ensure they carry out work safely and to a satisfactory standard
- take a leading role in organising and planning the activities of the department, under the overall direction of the Head of Finance & Resources/CEO
