Responsibility
- completing delivery schedules for the Engineering department and prioritising contracts with the Operations Director
- monitor material deliveries and communicate with the purchasing and good inwards departments
- scheduling shifts and workers to provide the correct coverage for all planned and emergent requirements
- produce production schedules and program workshop resource for each contract including sub vendor activities
- complete daily progress checks & communicates with workshop supervisors
- find ways to improve productivity and reduce costs where possible
- liaise and organise sub-contract activities required to complete the project including interacting with third party inspectors and clientele
- liaise with the Estimating department for contract handovers to fully understand contract requirements including collating & reporting information from the client
