• welders must be fully conversant with T.I.G welding Ferrous and nonferrous materials to coded ASME IX standards, in addition Flux core experience would be advantageous, the successful candidates will benefit from good rates of pay, regular overtime and permanent employment

Responsibility

• completing delivery schedules for the Engineering department and prioritising contracts with the Operations Director
• monitor material deliveries and communicate with the purchasing and good inwards departments
• scheduling shifts and workers to provide the correct coverage for all planned and emergent requirements

• produce production schedules and program workshop resource for each contract including sub vendor activities
• complete daily progress checks & communicates with workshop supervisors
• find ways to improve productivity and reduce costs where possible
• liaise and organise sub-contract activities required to complete the project including interacting with third party inspectors and clientele
• liaise with the Estimating department for contract handovers to fully understand contract requirements including collating & reporting information from the client
• ensure all commercial issues are addressed prior to project completion. i.e. agree and submit client variations to the estimating department
• report all relevant contract information to company directors
